As a custom tag, Advantag Canada can manufacture your tag to more than the 8 standard sizes available in our blank products. As a guideline, tags can be manufactured from 2” x 1” up to 8 ½” x 11” (approximately); in either direction for print. Contact us for your specific size requirement.
Manila stock is a 10PT uncoated cardstock and white can be a 10PT uncoated, clay-coated or coated one side. We also offer various thicknesses for special requests. These stocks can also be dyed to match any Pantone request. This is a standard multipurpose matte finish tag stock, our most economical choice for custom tags.
A clay coated tag cardboard achieved by baking clay dust on white uncoated cardstock; available in various thicknesses, offered in white coated one side also. Standard 10pt available in many colours including red, yellow, dark blue, salmon, buff, lilac, light blue, grey, pink, ivory, light green, dark green and orange. We also offer five bright fluorescent colors; chartreuse (yellow), orange, green, pink and red. This is a multipurpose smooth finish tag stock with writable surface and added benefit of being slightly water repellent.
Tyvek is the perfect solution for printed tags that must withstand climatic conditions and heavy wear. Tyvek is available in 7pt. It is made from synthetic fiber, waterproof, flexible and highly tear resistant. Tyvek can also be tinted with the pantone of your choice which give you many choices of coloured Tyvek tags.
DENCOR is our own patented 7pt product, developed as a tear and water resistant cost effective alternative to Tyvek for certain applications. A white polylaminated material having a smooth, easily writable surface, DENCOR produces a printed tag visually similar to clay coated cardstock.
Our synthetic is a virtually tear proof and waterproof plastic material. A smooth finish makes it the best choice for bar codes as well as the choice of material for printed tags exposed to the harshest of conditions.
We can print your tags with the more traditional spot colour procedure up to 3/3, up to a full process printed tag. We can print full bleeds; tint your tag to your PMS specific selection before printing. For long lasting printed tags, we can also print your outdoor tags in UV ink to prevent fading. Tags can be printed with company logos, reverse printed and just about any other information to meet customer requests.
Holes can be reinforced with a hard fiber patch, available in various colours; a metal eyelet for additional strength or for minimal reinforcement, a mylar strip. Standard fiber patch reinforced hole sizes are 1/8”; 3/16”; 1/4”; 3/8” and 9/16”, custom sized holes also available. Metal eyelets can be applied alone or in addition to a fiber patch for maximum tear-away resistance. Metal eyelets come in hole sizes of 3/16” and 3/8”.
Tags can be numbered sequentially from a choice of 9 different standard sizes. Alternately, we can number your tags to any size and font after producing them using our specialized digital equipment. This equipment also enables us to barcode tags in just about any format.
Advantag has 10 standard perforation types that are utilized in the manufacturing of their products as well as the ability to score your tag for an easy fold. Contact us for additional information and recommendations.
Our tags can all be strung using a variety of materials including twine, regular cotton string, elastic string, butcher cord, and polyethylene string. Stringing can be applied as knotted, looped or looped and knotted. Other types of fasteners available are wires (twisted), twist ties (twisted) and deadlocks. Any of our fasteners can be purchased applied to the tag or separate.
